CONDORS IN THE COMMUNITY: TIP A CONDOR RAISES $9,000 FOR SHRINE CLUB Hockeython Is February 22

TIP-A-CONDOR BRINGS IN $9,021 FOR SHRINE CLUB:

More than 100 fans participated in the annual dinner and auction held last Tuesday at Firehouse restaurant.  Condors players served guests and went above and beyond to collect “tips” for the Kern County Shrine Club. Watch highlights here.

Hosted by Condors own PA announcer, Mike Hart, the live auction featured several unique Condors items – including a one of a kind quilt made from the Condors roster and pieces of a game worn jersey.  In all, $9,021.99 was raised bringing the all-time event total to $156,000.
HOCKEYTHON REGISTRATION ENDS FEBRUARY 7:
 
Players of all ages and skill levels are invited to participate in
the Condors Fighting Cancer Hockeython taking place onSaturday, February 22.  For the first time, proceeds willbenefit Bakersfield Relay for Life.  If you can’t play – come out and support former Condors Sean Venedam and Chris Kushneriuk, who embody the fighting spirit of overcoming obstacles. They join the impressive Condors Alumni roster for a special game taking place prior to Condors home game on Saturday, February 22. Cheer them on and bid on their jerseys as well as other great prizes for a great cause!

The Condors host the Ontario Reign and the first 2,000 children, 12 & under, will receive a Condors #22 Gary Steffes replica youth jersey courtesy of KGET-17, La Preciosa 105.3 and Three Way Chevrolet-Cadillac.
