Bakersfield Back in The Nest Sunday at 5 p.m. for 10th Anniversary
Jersey Raffle and Auction
BAKERSFIELD,
Calif. - The Bakersfield Condors lost to the Las Vegas Wranglers Friday night, 4-0, in front of 6,363 at Rabobank Arena in downtown
Bakersfield. The Condors failed to put a goal on the board for the first time all year, as
Las Vegas goalie Daniel Manzato stopped all 38 shots he faced en route to the shutout.

The Wranglers (9-2-0, 18 points) struck first, as Bruce Mulherin was able to guide a flickering puck out of mid-air into the net with his stick with just 37 seconds remaining in the opening frame. Mulherin's goal was assisted by Chris Ferraro and Peter Ferraro.
During the second period, the Condors (4-7-3, 11 points) fell behind by two, as Peter Ferraro ripped a one-timer from the left circle past Jamie Hodson for the Wranglers' second goal. Jason Krischuk and Gerry Burke registered assists on the goal.
Las Vegas added to the lead in the third with their third goal, as Adam Cracknell wristed the puck into the back of
Bakersfield's net after the Condors turned it over in the neutral zone. Cracknell struck again with his tenth of the year and second of the game at 19:44 in the third, putting the Wranglers up by four. Although the Condors put up a strong effort in the final stanza, they were unable to come back from the tough deficit.
Notes: Todd Griffith played his first game of the season, coming back from a hand injury sustained last season. The Condors acquired defenseman Jason Goulet from the Dayton Bombers for future considerations Friday. Goulet played in seven games for the Bombers this season, amassing 19 penalty minutes. The Condors had not lost a game in regulation at home prior to tonight's game.
