The Wranglers (10-2-0, 20 points) took a first period lead at 12:43 of the opening frame after the Condors were called for back-to-back penalties, leading to a two-man Wrangler power play. Tyler Mosienko slapped a one-timer past Jamie Hodson for the first goal of the game.
Early in the second period, the Condors (4-8-3, 11 points) tied the game when Andrew Ianiero put his own rebound past G Daniel Manzato for the score. Ianiero momentarily lost the puck between his skates, but was able to recover and throw the initial shot on goal that created the rebound, which he fired into the twine. Brett Lutes and Sean Venedam registered assists on the goal.
Las Vegas retook the lead with another power play goal at the 14:00 mark of the second. Jason Jozsa ripped a slap shot from the point that carried wide of the cage, but the rebound kicked off the backboards right into the crease where Chris Ferraro guided it into the net before Hodson could recover.
The Wranglers built on the lead early in the third after
Bakersfield turned the puck over in its own zone. Peter Ferraro found the puck right in front of the net after the turnover and wristed it past Hodson for his sixth of the year. Venedam started the Condors down the comeback trail with his fourth goal of the season at 1:40 of the third. Kevin Truelson sent the puck on goal from the point, and Venedam was positioned perfectly on the edge of the crease to net the rebound. Truelson picked up the assist on the goal, but
Bakersfield could not find a way to get the elusive tying goal before time expired.

Notes: Yutaka Fukufuji started the game, but left midway through the first after stopping a slap shot from Peter Ferraro. Earlier in the period, Fukufuji was leveled by Ryan Donally, who earned a game misconduct for charging the goaltender. The Condors had a 10th Anniversary Jersey Raffle and Auction at tonight's game. The auction raised a preliminary total of $21,575, to be donated to the Ronald McDonald House, and five jerseys were raffled off as well.
