After a scoreless first period, Stockton (0-1-0, 0 points) opened the scoring 2:22 into the second as David Rohlfs beat Condors netminder Yutaka Fukufuji.  The Thunder grabbed a 2-0 lead at 7:17, cashing in on a two man advantage.  Andy Contois had the puck in the right wing corner and made a nifty centering pass to Jesse Bennefield, who slipped it behind Fukufuji.

The Condors (1-0-0, 2 points) came back at 14:04 of the second, as defenseman Joe Dustin beat Stockton goaltender Cam EllsworthBrett Lutes headed a 4-on-2 rush into the Thunder zone and dropped the puck to a wide-open Dustin, who walked in and rifled it home.

The Condors tied it 8:46 into the third period, thanks to rookie winger Mark Derlago's first professional goal.  After taking a pass from Sean Venedam, Andrew Ianiero carried the puck out of the right corner and centered a pass that Derlago redirected behind Ellsworth.  Konsorada then gave the Condors their first lead of the night with a chip-in goal from the slot, beautifully set up by Derlago and Kevin Truelson with just 1:36 remaining in regulation.  Fukufuji kept the Condors in the game with a supreme effort in net while the offense wasn't clicking, and finished up with 28 saves on 30 shots.
