Former NHL’er and LA Kings Broadcaster Daryl Evans coming to Condorstown

CONDORSTOWN, Calif. – The Bakersfield Condors are excited to announce that former NHL’er and current Los Angeles Kings radio color commentator Daryl Evans will join Ryan Holt and Kevin Bartl on the broadcast of Saturday’s game as the Condors battle the San Francisco Bulls at 7 p.m. He will serve as a color commentator throughout the broadcast.

“It is an honor to be invited to come up to Bakersfield and participate in the game,” said Evans. “I’m looking forward to it and look forward to the energy of being at a live professional game.”

Evans is in his 14th season as part of the Kings broadcast team and currently serves as the color commentator on radio alongside play-by-play voice Nick Nickson. Following a five-goal comeback in the third period against the Edmonton Oilers, Evans scored the overtime game-winning goal early in the extra session.

“It’s a great honor to have a Kings legend make the trek to Condorstown for this night,” said Condors Vice President of Communications Kevin Bartl. “It is a great opportunity for us and our fans to have someone of his abilities bring his expertise to the broadcast. We’re very appreciative of Mr. Evans and the Kings for lending us his voice for the night.”
