TONIGHT
The Bakersfield Condors welcome the Manitoba Moose to begin a busy three games in four nights stretch at home. It is the first of four meetings on the season and first of two on the week as Manitoba returns on Saturday. All-time the Condors are 4-4-0-0 over two seasons against the Moose.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT
Bakersfield rallied with three goals in the second period, but could not overcome a four-goal deficit as the Stockton Heat took both games on the weekend with a 5-3 win on Saturday. The Condors were boosted by their special teams as LW Joey LaLeggia and LW Ty Rattie each potted power-play goals and RW Patrick Russell broke in with his second shorthanded goal of the season.

Manitoba begins a six-game California road trip this week after dropping both games past regulation at home to Belleville last weekend. LW Chase De Leo scored late in the third on Friday to secure a point in a 4-3 shootout loss. On Saturday, the Moose surrendered a 2-0 lead and fell 3-2 in overtime.

BLUE LINE BOLSTERED
Veterans D Ryan Stanton and D Mark Fayne are both expected to join the Condors lineup this evening. Fayne has missed the last five games after leaving the team’s second game of the season early with an injury. Stanton was injured in Edmonton during training camp and makes his season debut tonight after being assigned by the Oilers this morning. The St. Alberta, Alberta native brings 449 games of pro experience at the AHL and NHL levels with him to Bakersfied and was a key for the Hershey Bears run to the Calder Cup Finals two seasons ago.

STAYING OUT OF THE BOX
The Condors and Moose are two of the least penalized teams in the AHL. Bakersfield checks in 27th with 11.71 penalty minutes per contest while Manitoba is 28th with 11.33 a game. However, the Moose have four major penalties compared to the Condors two through seven games. Bakersfield jumped four spots with two power-play goals on Saturday, but have still received the fewest power plays in the AHL with 23
