CONDORSTOWN, Calif. – Miss something last week? Have trouble keeping up with all the latest news in Condorstown? Here is what you may have missed and what you need to know heading into this week.
1. SAVE THE DATE AND RESERVE YOUR SPOT IN THE CONDORS GOLF CLASSIC
  • The Condors Charity Golf Classic will be held Monday, Oct. 23 at scenic Rio Bravo Country Club
  • Entry to the four-person team scramble is $125 per person and include greens fee, cart, lunch, and post-round dinner banquet
  • Each foursome will be paired with a Condors player or coach for an afternoon of fun in the sun

2. THE ULTIMATE JERSEY BRACKET – ROUND ONE UNDERWAY

  • You’ve seen them featured on ESPN, NBC Sports Network, Yahoo! Puck Daddy, and The Hockey News. Even Keith Olbermann bought one! They have brought international attention to Bakersfield. But now is the time to decide which Condors specialty jersey has been the greatest of all-time.
  • Vote for your favorite Condors jersey of all-time by filling out your round one bracket
  • Round one concludes Wednesday night with the jerseys combining to raise over $1 million for local non-profits in the team’s history

3. JOIN OUR TEAM – APPLY TODAY; JOB FAIR TO BE HELD SEPTEMBER 13
  • Join our team with multiple full-time front office positions available including: Community Relations and Fundraising Manager and Director of Business Development
  • Also the team is in need of multiple part-time positions including: Event Operations Assistant, Retail Operations Assistant, Public Relations and Digital Media Assistant

  • The team’s annual Job Fair will be held Wednesday, September 13 from 4-6 p.m. with many game night positions open including retail operations, promo team, Kids Zone attendants, ice crew, and more! More details to follow
  • Mascot tryouts will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 5  from 5-7 p.m.

4. CONDORS ALL-TIME GREAT ROSEBUSH INDUCTED INTO ISC HALL OF FAME

  • Paul Rosebush, who played parts of seven seasons in Bakersfield from 1999-2006 and had his jersey retired by the team in 2007, was inducted into the International Softball Congress Hall of Fame
  • Rosebush, who lives and works in Bakersfield, coaches the Jr. Condors Squirt BB hockey team
  • From 1999-2011, “Rosie” played for the Oshawa Gators, Madison Farm Tavern, and the Bakersfield Angels and earned three ISC All-World laurels
