ZOOperstars Coming This Friday!

This Friday, the ZOOperstars featuring Snail Earnhardt, Jr., Dick Flytale, Pee Wee Geese, LeBronco James, Deion Salamanders, and Shaquille O'Seal, sponsored by Bright House Networks and 101.5 KGFM. That night is also a battle for 1st place between the Condors and the Alaska Aces. That battle continues the following weekend as the Condors face the Aces for a pair of games on Friday March 18 (7:00 p.m.) and Saturday March 19 (7:00 p.m.) On March 18 KGET-TV 17, The Big 96.5 & American Business Machines present Jersey Raffle & Auction - 25th Anniversary of The Miracle on Ice. Commemorative jerseys from the 1980 USA Olympic Gold Medal winning team will be auctioned off after the game, plus everyone in attendance has a chance to win one of five to be given away! All proceeds from the jersey auction will be donated to Petroleum Shrine Club. Then on March 19, 106.1 KRAB Radio presents the Oakland Raiderettes - the Raider Nation's finest from the Oakland Raiders will bring their moves to the ice and be available for autographs as well.

Win 10 to Win $10 Drive to the Playoffs

Become a Condors season ticket holder with prorated ticket packages for the remainder of the season and earn a chance to grow $10,000 richer. If the Bakersfield Condors win their final 10 home games (final nine in the regular season and their first home playoff game), then one season ticket holder will win $10,000. Prorated season tickets are available, but fans must sign up before this Friday's game to be eligible. The March 11th match represents the first of the 10 final home games in the contest. All current and new season ticket holders will be entered in the drawing.

Condors Serve It Up

Tip-A-Condor is right around the corner. It will be held on March 21, 2005 from 6-9 p.m. Tickets are available in the Bakersfield Sports Entertainment Front Office or on the concourse during each home game at the Shriner's Table behind section 107.

Hockey-A-Thon in two weeks!

The first-ever Condors Hockey-Thon to fight breast cancer will be held on March 25th- March 26th. It will consist of 27 straight hours of hockey to benefit the Link to Life Resource Center. Come see some of your favorite Condors of yesteryear including Ken Baker, Kevin Barrett, Jamie Cooke, Quinn Fair, Glen Mears, & Paul Willett play to raise money.

Colonel Hits the Slopes!

In March I went snowboarding, and it sure was fun. I bet you did not think that birds could snowboard, but the truth is we can. It was even caught on film! I had my goggles to protect my eyes from other birds that might be jealous of my good looks and try to pick at me, and for protection from the sun. Many people took my picture. You might want to check www.mthigh.com for pictures that should be posted there too. I overheard some of the staff say how cute I was. We all know it's true, it's in the tail! DODGEBALL TOURNAMENT

Bring your team out for a fun night of Dodgeball and Arena Football. Prior to the start of the Blitz vs. Coyotes game on Saturday, April 2nd there will be a dodgeball tournament! This battle for Bakersfield Dodgeball bragging rights will take place from 12 PM to 4 PM! Be part of the first ever Dodgeball tournament at Rabobank Arena. The Championship Game will take place at Halftime in front of thousands of Blitz Fans!! All teams are welcome: Male, Female, or Mixed (Ages 15 & Up) six (6) player teams with a maximum of ten (10) players per roster. The entry fee covers tournament dues as well as tickets to the Blitz game that evening. Entry fee: $125 per team: includes your choice of 8 EndZone or 16 Terrace tickets and tournament entry. Teams can purchase additional tickets for $5-$12 per ticket. Top teams will receive fabulous prizes! The Condors would like to congratulate Justin Hizo, winner of the Island Styles Shoot for the Grill. During the second intermission of the Condors vs. Gulls game on Wednesday, March 2nd Justin managed to make a goal from both the blue line and the center line to win himself a grill from Island Styles.
