The Condors would like to welcome back corporate partner Robert Russo, Bakersfield’s Refi- Guy, for his second year of sponsorship with the Condors. “Sponsoring the Condors was a perfect fit,” said Russo. “I find myself sharing the same philosophies as their organization does: COMMUNITY, FAMILY, FUN........oh, and WINNING! Go CONDORS!!” Robert has been in the mortgage industry over 12 years. He is available to help with a home loan purchase, refiance or even selling and is located at 4140 Truxtun Ave # 100 Bakersfield, CA 93309. The Bakersfield Condors and KUZZ 107.9 are proud to have partnered up with Houchin Blood Bank once again, as fans helped the bank significantly increase their blood donations and set record numbers for the month of March. Traditionally, the Condors blood drive brings in slightly over 500 donations for the blood needs of our community. During the week of March 26, there was high visual exposure with mascot appearances, player appearances as well as radio and media coverage resulting in 835 registered donors, accounting for 632 actual units that week alone! The Condors’ Mailbag has been integrated into the Condors website as a way to answer questions regarding the team, front office and organization. The coaches and front office will answer all relative questions. If you’d like to ask a question or check out some other questions the Condors’ Mailbag is displayed on the Condors homepage. From: David
Mailbag Response:
The Condors stand by family entertainment and value our Condors kids. We continually strive to improve our Kid’s Club and other kids programs and we appreciate all input. Unfortunately there are only so many ways to emphasize that a “Kid’s Club” event is actually for the kids, but we do appreciate our parent involvement because without them we wouldn’t have a Kid’s Club. A big thank you to Rollerama West, the Condor’s Communications Department, and most of all Jill Watts our Community Relations Director. Go Condors! Megan Scarrone
Black; the color of authority, dominance and power. A color that thousands of dedicated Condors fans will be wearing every playoff game to support the team. Thousands of fans wearing the same color, creating one voice for one goal: the Kelly Cup. Authority - The power to settle issues or
disputes or the right to control.
Dominance - The state that exists when one
person or group has power over another.
Power - The ability or capacity to perform or act
effectively.
It’s time to pump up the volume and tune out the distractions. The Nest is one of the loudest, if not the loudest arena in the ECHL. While it may not win an award for being the loudest, we fans know it is and know it will be even louder during the playoffs. Fans will be out in full force with cowbells, thundersticks, horns, and most importantly, their voice. Noise during the playoffs is always a definite plus, but screaming to let your Condors know you’re behind them is energizing. Start going through your clothes or take a trip to the Condors Team Store to find your best black clothing to support your team and show the rest of the league that Condorstown is a town of authority, dominance and power.
