    Hockey Thon Raises over $23,000

The results are in from the first-ever Condors Hockey-Thon, which was held from March 25th - 26th at both the Rabobank Arena and the Bakersfield Ice Center. The 27-hour event brought in $23,381.70 for Link to Life, the local breast cancer resource center.

Organized by former Fog and Condors defenseman, and current color commentator, Kevin Barrett, the event included nearly 90 players, over three dozen 17-minute periods, countless donors and two Condors games as the Gwinnett Gladiators were in town for a two-game set. Individual participants were asked to solicit "sponsors" as an entry fee, the largest of which received prizes for their efforts. Thanks to everyone who participated! Link to Life
