Fresh Faces added to the roster

Head Coach Marty Raymond picked up C Tony Lawrence from the Texas Wildcatters in exchange for the ECHL rights to RW Curtis Huppe. Coach Raymond continued by sending the rights to C Steve Slonina to the Toledo Storm for C Ty Hennes.

Lawrence, 24, is playing in his third full season in the pro ranks. Last year with Texas, the Minnesota native posted 17 goals and 41 points in 56 games. This season, he has 3g-5a-8pts in 22 games with the Wildcatters. Prior to competing in his rookie campaign with Quad City (United Hockey League), Lawrence compiled prolific numbers in college, tallying 139 points in three seasons with St. Thomas College in Minnesota.

Hennes, 25, is in his rookie season after spending the last four years at Boston College. Another American, hailing from Kent, Washington, Hennes had 3g-5a- 8pts in 20 games with the Storm this season, and played against the Condors earlier this season while with Toledo. As a freshman he was a member of Boston College's National Championship team and this spring, as a senior, he captained a BC squad that advanced to the Frozen Four before bowing out to Maine.
