ELLIS ASSIGNED TO BAKERSFIELD

The Edmonton Oilers have activated goaltender Cam Talbot from injured reserve.

Talbot, 30, has appeared in 22 games with the Oilers this season, posting a 10-10-1 record, a 3.00 goals against average, a .903 save percentage and one shutout.

The 6’4”, 210-pound goaltender has appeared in 208 career NHL games, posting a record of 106-74-19, a 2.39 goals against average, a .920 save percentage and 19 shutouts.

In 2016-17, Talbot led the NHL in games played (73), minutes played (4,294), saves (1,946) and tied for league lead with 42 wins.

The Oilers have also assigned goaltender Nick Ellis to the American Hockey League’s (AHL) Bakersfield Condors.
