Pre-game interview with Coach O’Dette

The Bakersfield Condors play their third game in four days and begin a three-games-in-three-nights weekend tonight against the Las Vegas Wranglers. Tonight’s meeting is the sixth between the Condors and Wranglers and the fifth of six in Bakersfield. There are still four games left in the season series following tonight’s game. The Condors hit the road for two games in San Francisco on Saturday (7:15 p.m.) and Sunday (2:15 p.m.).

The Condors suffered a heartbreaking defeat at the hands of the Ontario Reign on Wednesday night, 4-2. After trailing 2-0 into the third period, C Nicholas Tremblay took over, scoring two goals in a three-minute span before the midway point of the frame, but a goal from F Derek Couture with under three minutes left in regulation snatched a regulation win for the Reign. It was the second game on the week already for the Condors, who knocked off Stockton, 4-3 at Rabobank Arena on Tuesday night.

The Condors have signed D T.J. Fast and he will make his debut with the team tonight. He was acquired along with future considerations from Greenville for F Zach Cohen in early January… Bakersfield has erased a two-goal third period deficit in three of their last six games… C Nicholas Tremblay is on a six-game point streak (5g-4a) while his linemate RW Scott Freeman has 1g-8a during his five-game scoring streak… LW Francis Verreault is tied for 2nd in rookie scoring with 40 points (14g-26a), two points off the lead… F Brett Lyon leads all rookies and is third in the league with 15 fighting majors.

2/8 F Jacob Lagace reassigned to Bakersfield
2/8 D Tyson Gimblett traded to Florida for
future considerations
2/8 D T.J. Fast signed (rights were acquired on
1/9 from Greenville)
2/5 F Jacob Lagace recalled to Rochester
(AHL) by Buffalo (NHL)

Come enjoy a delicious meal before the game, rather than trying to squeeze in an unsatisfying bite somewhere else.

Tonight’s dining options:

THE SPACE BETWEEN: Baked potato bar
THE CLUB ROOM: Pot roast w/ potatoes and carrots; green salad and peach cobbler
Bon appetit!!!!
