Condors edged by Thunder, 1-0

CONDORSTOWN, Calif. – The Bakersfield Condors (8-24-3-0, 19pts) were blanked by the Stockton Thunder (14-13-1-3, 30pts) 1-0 in front of 5,120 fans at Rabobank Arena Friday night.
Despite a heavy lead in shots through most of the period, the Condors fell behind 1-0 just 1:42 into the contest. LW Jordan Fulton scored on the first Stockton shot of the night, chipping a wobbling puck past Condors G Matt Keetley. Bakersfield put 12 shots on G Olivier Roy, but could not score.
Neither team got on the board in the middle frame. Shots were 8-8 in the period, with a highlight being the fisticuffs of Condors D Tyson Gimblett and Stockton LW Garet Hunt just four minutes into the period.

The Thunder shut down the Condors in the third, out-shooting them 10-9 and helping their rookie goalie collect his third shutout of the season. Keetley finished the night with 23 saves.
