Oilers recall Klinkhammer

CONDORSTOWN – The Bakersfield Condors announced today that LW Rob Klinkhammer has been recalled by the Edmonton Oilers. He is one of 12 players to play for both the Condors and the Oilers this season. Bakersfield continues a four-game road trip in San Antonio on Friday and Saturday after starting the trip with two wins over the top two teams in the Pacific Division. The Oilers also placed C Ryan Nugent-Hopkins on the Injured Reserve list.
KLINKHAMMER (stats)
  • Notched three goals and an assist in three games with the Condors over the weekend
  • Scored twice in the team’s 5-3 win over San Jose yesterday to help snap their nine-game unbeaten streak
  • Two of his three goals came shorthanded – tying him for third in the AHL in that category
  • Has one goal in 13 games with the Oilers this season.
