WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah – The Bakersfield Condors (19-22-2-4, 44pts), owned by the Edmonton Oilers, went down to four defensemen early in the 2nd period, but gutted out a 3-2 win over the Utah Grizzlies (21-19-4-3, 49pts) on Saturday night at Maverik Center.
D C.J. Ludwig left the game early in the second period after an unpenalized hit and did not return. Cameron Abney and Akim Aliu each filled in on the blue line for the Condors who went down to just four blueliners.
