Seinfeld Puffy Shirt Jerseys Up on EBay

CONDORSTOWN, Calif.– The Bakersfield Condors, owned by the Edmonton Oilers, announced today that due to overwhelming national demand, nine (9), authentic game-issued “Puffy Shirt”jerseys honoring the 25th Anniversary of Seinfeld are now LIVE at auction on EBay.
Instead of player names, the jerseys feature characters from the popular sitcom and businesses from the show as sponsors on the back.
The nine jerseys available at auction on EBay currently:
1. #24 Mandelbaum, issued to RW Mitch Holmberg, sponsor patch: Pendant Publishing (bid)
2. #6 Morty Seinfeld, issued to D Graeme Craig, sponsor patch: Del Boca Vista (bid)
3. #15 Mickey Abbott, issued to D Jonathan Narbonne, sponsor patch: Restaurant (bid)
4. #20 Lloyd Braun, issued to D Brendon Nash, sponsor patch: Kramerica (bid)
5. #22 Keith Hernandez, issued to C Josh Currie, sponsor patch: Restaurant (bid)
6. #44 Art Vandelay, issued to C Nick MacNeil, sponsor patch: Del Boca Vista (bid)
7. #55 Dr. Tim Whatley, issued to C Connor Jones, sponsor patch: Restaurant (bid)
8. #30 Bubble Boy, issued to G Frans Tuohimaa, sponsor patch: Vandelay Industries (bid)
9. #7 Crazy Joe Davola, issued to RW Josh Winquist, sponsor patch: Restaurant (bid)
Bidding closes on Dec. 1, 2014. Jerseys will ship in time for the holidays including Festivus!
12 of the jerseys were auctioned off live following the game with #77 Chase Schaber’s “Assman”jersey fetching the highest bid at $1,800.
Proceeds from the auction benefit M.A.R.E., a non-profit organization which provides therapeutic equine assisted activities for the benefit of people living with special needs and disabilities.
The jerseys have been featured on ESPN, Sports Illustrated, NBC, Yahoo! Puck Daddy, Barstool Sports, SportsNation, USA Today, Olbermann, CBC, SportsNet, and countless other local and national media outlets.
On Thursday, the Condors welcomed 8,209 fans and students on Field Trip Day in Condorstown. The students received a nutritious lunch, an educational booklet, and played educational games throughout.

The Condors head to Stockton for three straight before returning to the Dignity Health Home Ice Thanksgiving weekend for Teddy Bear Toss. On Saturday, Nov. 29 fans are asked to bring a new or gently used stuffed animal and when the Condors score their first goal of the game, throw them onto the ice. Teddy Bear Toss is sponsored by Eyewitness News, KERN 1180 and Three-Way Chevrolet-Cadillac.
