The Bakersfield Condors begin a four-game homestand with a contest against the rival Stockton Thunder tonight. It is also the beginning of a three games in three nights stretch for the Condors who host Stockton tomorrow night, before playing starting a six-game stretch against the Idaho Steelheads on Saturday. Bakersfield has won the past two meetings between the two teams and has points in three of the six games in 2012-13. This is second of five straight home games for Bakersfield in the season series.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT
The Condors were on the road last week and limped through a winless four-game trip with a loss in Las Vegas and three straight in Colorado. Recent acquistions made an impact though as F Daniel Koger had a goal and assist in his first three games with the team and D Deron Cousens earned an assist. Bakersfield played much of the week with four healthy defensemen, including having to dress F Liam Huculak on defense. C Peter Boyd was strong on the week, chipping in with two goals.

CONDORS NOTES
D Deron Cousens will wear #12 for the first time tonight after “borrowing” #71 from D Trevor Hendrikx while the team was in Colorado… C Peter Boyd (1g-1a) and F Jacob Lagace (0g-2a)are each coming off multi-point nights last time out against the Eagles… Boyd has a goal in two of the last three games… Cousens and fellow newcomer F Daniel Koger (both acquired on the road trip) each recorded their first points in a Bakersfield sweater on the trip to Colorado.
