Beck signs NHL deal

CONDORSTOWN, Calif. – The Bakersfield Condors announced today that the Edmonton Oilers have signed winger Taylor Beck to a one-year contract for the 2016-17 season. For an updated Condors offseason player tracker, click here.

TAYLOR BECK stats (25 years old, 6’2″, 203 lbs., St. Catherines, Ontario)

  • Veteran of 243 games (61g-104a-165pts) in the AHL with Milwaukee, Bridgeport, and San Antonio in addition to 87 games (11g-12a-23pts) in the NHL with Nashville and the New York Islanders
  • Spent the majority of the 2015-16 season with Bridgeport where he finished fifth on the team in scoring with 33 points (16g-17a) despite playing in just 46 games
  • Played the entire 2014-15 season with Nashville and in 62 games, had 16 points (8g-8a) and appeared in five Stanley Cup Playoff contests
  • Selected to the AHL All-Star Game in 2009-10 and was named to the Second AHL All-Star Team that same year
  • Drafted in the third round (#70 overall) of the 2009 NHL Draft by Nashville
