Job Fair and National Anthem Tryouts Set

CONDORSTOWN, Calif. – The Bakersfield Condors, ECHL affiliate of the Edmonton Oilers, announced today the details surrounding two upcoming events: Job Fair/National Anthem Tryouts and Open House/Black-White Game.

Job Fair/National Anthem Tryouts  

When? Tuesday, Sept. 17, 3-6 p.m.
Where? Rabobank Arena

What? Combined event where applicants interview to fill paid,game night positions for the upcoming 2013-14 season. Positions include, but are not limited to: Mascot Operations, Merchandise Sales, Promo Team, Program Sales, Kids Zone.

Should be able to work most home games, be 16 years of age or older (or 15 1/2 with a work permit), and have tons of energy.

There’s even more: Singers can audition to sing the national anthem at games as well. To schedule a time in advance, please call Matthew Friedman at 324-PUCK (7825).

Open House/Black-White Game  

When? Wednesday, Oct. 9, 5-8:30 p.m.
Where? Rabobank Arena

What? Meet the players from 5-6 p.m.; Condors Black-White intrasquad game runs from 7-8:30 p.m.

More: Season ticket holders can pick up their tickets and gifts at the event.
