Condors in the Community: Condors All-Star Jersey Off Our Back Auction raises $20,050

Bakersfield, Calif. – The Condors held their second Jersey Off Our Backs Raffle and Auction of the year at this past Saturday’s game, wearing special ECHL All-Star Classic tribute jerseys. The Condors raised $20,050 for the Petroleum ShrineJerseyCalder Club. Kyle Calder’s jersey netted the largest bid, as his sold for $1,700. Over $736,000 has been raised in Condors jersey auction history.

Monday, Dec. 13

The Condors will be joining the Bakersfield Dragons practices at the Bakersfield Ice Sports Center located at 1325 Q St # 100.  Six Condors players, as well as Marty Raymond, will be attending the various Dragons youth hockey practices tonight to work with the kids, including the Midgets, Pee-wees, Mites and Squirts. Tuesday, Dec. 14

Condors D Evan Stoflet and D Brendan Milnamow and Condors staff will be volunteering at the Bakersfield Homeless Shelter located at 600 E. Wednesday, Dec. 15

The Condors will be ringing bells in front of Vons Grocery Store off of Stockdale and California to help raise money for the Salvation Army this holiday season. Colonel Claw’d will be there from 3 to 4 p.m. and Condors F Rylan Kaip will be there from 4 to 5 p.m.

Thursday, Dec. 16

Condors D Evan Stoflet will be at Haven Drive Jr. High School located at from 8 to 9 a.m. Evan will be participating in the schools Career Day by speaking about his career choices, educational background, and goals in life.

Friday, Dec. 17

Colonel Claw’d and Condors staff will be heading to Wasco to visit Thomas Jefferson Middle School located at 305 Griffith ChristmasParadeAve. from 9 to 10 a.m. Colonel will be entertaining the students at the College and Career Fair.

The Condors do not return home until after Christmas, when they host the Stockton Thunder twice on Dec. 26 and 27. The Condors host the Thunder for Lunchbox Tin Giveaway on the 26th, sponsored by ABC23, La Preciosa 105.3, and American Business Machines. The first 2,000 fans 12 and under will receive a Condors Lunchbox Tin.
