Condors in the Community: Last call for the Summer Reading Program!

The Condors make the final appearance at a Kern County Library as part of the summer reading program and only a few days remain to take advantage of the 15th Anniversary ticket special!

TUESDAY, JULY 10:
Members of the Condors front office will be attending the Chamber of Commerce 2012 State of City Luncheon Forum at the Bakersfield Marriot Convention Center from 11:30 – 1:30 p.m.  They will join Mayor Harvey Hall, City Manager Alan Tandy, and Bakersfield Convention & Visitors Bureau Manager David Lyman in taking a look at the past year and what’s ahead for the City of Bakersfield.
Condors broadcaster Kevin Bartl hits the airwaves for his weekly appearace on the Scott Cox Show at 5 p.m on KERN News Talk 1180. Tune in for behind the scenes news and insights about the team and front office.

WEDNESDAY, JULY 11:
Baby Cal makes the last stop on the summer readingCal at library tour with a visit to Wilson Library at 1901 Wilson Road. 
Kids of all ages are welcome to join in Dream Big: Story Time with the Condors at 11:30 a.m. and get a chance to try on some authentic hockey equipment as well as earn a Free ticket to a Condors game. The Condors have teamed up with Kern County Libraries all summer long to promote youth reading.
Condors staff will be attending the Kern County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce business mixer hosted by Rabobank, N.A. and Jacalito Grill at the Rabobank, N.A. office 900 Truxtun Ave., from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. Find a Condors representative there and ask what the Condors can do to help your business!

SATURDAY, JULY 14:

Baby Cal will take part in the opening ceremony for Relay for Life in Tehachapi at 8:30 a.m. The event takes place at Jacobsen Middle School at 711 Anita Drive.  Walking begins with the surivor lap at 9 a.m. and continues throughout the day and night until the closing cermony Sunday morning.
