Condors in the Community: Baby Cal to appear at Beale Library Story Time

Tuesday, Jul. 5

Colonel Claw’d and Condors staff visited the Parks and Recreations summer camp at Silvercreek Park located at 7011 Harris Rd. from 9 to 10 a.m. Colonel joined in on games and activities such as Duck Duck Goose and Basketball.

Friday, Jul. 8

Baby Cal and Condors staff will be joining Preschool Story Time at Beale Library located at 701 Truxtun Ave., from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30BBCal a.m. Colonel will be acting out scenes to books that are read aloud. For more information on Kern County Library story times click here.

Also, don’t forget that the Condors Summer Reading Program is on and running through July 30! Kids who read 10 or more books will be awarded a ticket to a Condors game next season. Stop by your local Kern County Library for more information or call the Condors office at 324-PUCK(7825).

Saturday, Jul. 9

Colonel Claw’d and Condors staff will be at the Delano Community Family and CPR Training Event being held at the Delano Regional Medical Center at 1401 Garces Highway, from 9 to 10 a.m. Colonel will be entertaining guests who attend this event.

Condors Booster Club:

The Condors Booster Club is sponsoring a fundraiser through the Gaslight Melodrama Theater. Tickets are on sale for the comedy show, “The Show Must Go On,” on July 21 at 7 p.m. All proceeds will benefit the Condors Booster Club. The Condors home opener is just 101 days away, when the ECHL’s newest team, the Colorado Eagles, come’s to town.
