CONDORS IN THE COMMUNITY: Colonel Claw’d & Baby Cal Ride In Kern County Fair Opening Parade

Attention vocalists and musical talent: Now is your chance to belt out your best national anthem renditions insideRabobank Arena from 4-6 p.m. Special celebrity guest judges, former American Idol season three finalist Amy Adams, and Condors Head Coach Matt O’Dette, will be auditioning singers for upcoming Condors games. Contact Todd Blacklock in the front office to schedule a time slot today by calling 324-PUCK (7825) ext. 216.

Also from 4-6 p.m., fans have a great opportunity to test out potential new seats or upgrades during the Select-A-Seat event. The best available seats will be tagged for fans’ convenience and the tremendous Condors sales representatives will be on hand to escort fans throughout the arena. Everyone who purchases a ticket plan at the event will receive an exclusive tour of the Condors locker room and will have the opportunity to chat with Coach O’Dette.

Condors broadcaster Kevin Bartl hits the airwaves for his weekly appearance on the Scott Cox Show at 5 p.m. on KERN News Talk 1180.  With just over one week to go until training camp opens, now is the time to tune in for behind the scenes news and insights about the team and front office.

Colonel Claw’d and Baby Cal kick off the 2012 ‘Best in the West’ Kern County Fair in style. The Condors mascots will take part in the Grand Opening Parade by riding in a brand-new vehicle courtesy of Three-Way Chevrolet. The parade begins at the fairgrounds Main Gate on P Street at 5 p.m. and launches 12 days of family fair fun.



Condors Account Manager Wendy Carpio will attend the ribbon cutting ceremony for DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen store located at 5880 District Blvd #19 at 4:30 p.m.

DreamMaker is a full service kitchen and bath remodeling center.




It’s picture day for the youth participating in FUN Sports and Colonel Claw’d will pose with teams and individuals from 9-11 a.m. at Calvary Bible Church, 48 Manor Street. FUN Sports is a local faith based youth sports league that offers soccer, tee-ball and flag football.




The Bakersfield Condors are once again teaming up with Kern Bridges Youth Homes for the 15th Annual Charity Golf Tournament taking place Monday, October 29th at the prestigious Bakersfield Country Club. Golfers will enjoy a premier course, delicious food, awesome prizes and of course, the chance to golf with a Condors player!
