Tuesday, Aug. 2
Colonel Claw’d will be out at the National Night Out Against Crime from 6 to 9 p.m. at Central Park Mill Creek located off of 20th St., just East of R St. Colonel will entertain the guests as they come out to help the Bakersfield Police Department in encouraging the community to support local anti-crime programs.
Wednesday, Aug. 3
The Condors will be at Wayside Park located at 1200 Ming Ave., this Wednesday from Noon to 3 p.m. Come out and enjoy the summer sun and stop by the Condors booth to spin the Prize Wheel for a chance to win cool Condors prizes. Also, the Inflatable Slapshot will be on hand for everyone to experience the game of hockey. Colonel Claw’d and Baby Cal will be at the park to entertain the kids, as well.
The Condors will be at various Bakersfield City Parks every week during the month’s of July and August. Check the Condors Community release each Monday to find out when to Condors are coming to your neighborhood.
Thursday, Aug. 4
Colonel Claw’d will join a local preschool on a tour of Rabobank Arena, located on 1001 Truxtun Ave., at 11:30 a.m. The kids will have a guided tour of the arena and enjoy complimentary hotdogs and drinks.
Condors Kids Club!
Sign-ups are officially underway for the 2011-12 Condors Kids Club. Membership includes executive level tickets to six games, a choice of a Kids Club backpack or T-shirt, official ID badge, monthly newsletter, free pass to try out hockey at the Bakersfield Ice Sports Center, exclusive Kids Club Party with the players and free access to the kids zone all season long, for only $10! The Condors home opener is just 75 days away, when the ECHL’s newest team, the Colorado Eagles, come to town. Game time is 7 p.m. Ticket packages for the 2011-12 season are now on sale, starting at just $48.
