CONDORS IN THE COMMUNITY: Kids Club Party on Tuesday; Tip-A-Condor Brings in $8,033

TIP-A-CONDOR BRINGS IN $8,033 FOR KERN COUNTY SHRINE CLUB:

 

On Monday, March 11, Condors players put their restaurantLagace TACservice skills to the test at the 13th Annual Tip-A-Condor event held at Firehouse on White Lane. Fans in attendance spent the evening “tipping” players and coaches for games of pool, photo ops, dance offs and karaoke. There were also one of a kind Condors items up for bid, including a custom made electric guitar which went for $700 and an exclusive ECHL Western Conference dart board that brought in $400.

 

In total, $8,033 was raised for the Kern County Shrine Club, bringing the 13 year total to $148,000.

 

TUESDAY, MARCH 26:

Attention All Kids Club Members! The annual Kids Club Meet the Team Party is being held at Rollerama West, 7850 Brimhall Road from 6-8 p.m. Condors Kids Club members will enjoy pizza, prizes, games and skating with the team & mascots! Non-members can attend for $5.

Tune in to the final Condors Insider of the season! Hosted by Condors Broadcasting duo Ryan Holt & Kevin Bartl, Condors Insider features interviews with players & coaches and can be heard on Fox Sports Radio 970 AM and the iheartradio app from 6-7 p.m.

Vice President of Communications, Kevin Bartl, will be a guest on My 101.5 KGFM with Tony in the Mornings at 6:40 a.m.

 

 

SATURDAY, MARCH 30:
Director of Community Relations, Mikie Barrett, and Baby Cal will join in the fun at the Stay Focused Easter Blast being held at MLK Jr. park, located at intersection of East California and South Owens, at 10 a.m.  In partnership with Bakersfield Parks & Recreation, Stay Focused is hosting an Easter Egg Hunt, live music, games and a community resource fair.
CONDORS HOME GAME: LAST GAME OF THE SEASON

The Condors take to Dignity Health home ice for the final game of the 2012-13 season.  Fans can enjoy not only great hockey, but nautical nonsense with SpongeBob SquarePants presented by My 101.5 KGFM. Underprivileged children and military personnel will be given the opportunity to attend for free thanks to local organizations participating in the Big Buddies ticket program.  Also, students who present a report card with a “B” (3.0) or higher GPA will receive a half price ticket as part of “B” Better Bakersfield Night.  Come enjoy your last night of Condors hockey for six months!  Doors open at 6 p.m. and the puck drops at 7 p.m. For more information or to reserve your tickets today, call the Condors front office at 324-PUCK (7825).
