Condors in the Community: Library Reading Program and Kern County Nut Festival
MONDAY, JUNE 10th:
The Condors have teamed up with the Kern County Library to make reading fun for students over the summer. Students who achieve their summer reading goals will receive vouchers to attend Condors games in the Fall. For more information on the KCL Summer Reading Program, click here.
Baker Branch
Baby Cal and Condors Community Relations Assistant Kelly Carter will kick off the 2013 Kern County Library Summer Reading Program at the Baker Branch located at 1400 Baker St. from 3-5 p.m. Kelly will read to the students while Cal is sure to entertain.
TUESDAY, JUNE 11th:
Northeast Branch
Baby Cal and Kelly then head to the Northeast Branch from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. for more reading and fun. The Northeast Branch is located at 3725 Columbus St.
WEDNESDAY, JUNE 12th:

Baby Cal and Colonel Claw’d along with Condors Broadcaster Ryan Holt will film a specialCondors TXT L8R commercial with 29 Eyewitness News at 10 a.m. Keep an eye out for the commercial airing over the summer. Take the pledge against texting while driving by clicking here.
SATURDAY, JUNE 15th:
Kern County Nut Festival
Andrew the Almond, who fans have come to love from the Condors Produce Race at games, makes a rare summer appearance at the Kern County Nut Festival from 12-2 p.m. How appropriate! He’ll bring his buddy Colonel Claw’d along as well to entertain children of all ages. The festival will be held at the Kern County Museum, 3801 Chester Ave.
