Condors in the Community: Lots Happening This Week

Pick-up your tickets & get your first glimpse of the team at the Annual Open House tomorrow, October 2.

CONDORS OPEN HOUSE TUESDAY, OCTOBER 2 from 6-9 p.m. at Rabobank Arena.
This is your first chance to see the 2012-13 Condors as they take the ice in an intrasquad black & white game. All Season Ticket Holders can pick-up their tickets and gifts. Admission is open to the public and free with the donation of two canned food items to benefit CAPK Food Bank.

When: Tuesday, October 2 at 6 – 9 p.m.

 

Where: Rabobank Arena

 

What: Condors intrasquad game. Following the game, players and coaches will be available for a meet and greet with the fans.

 

How: Admission is free with the donation of two canned food items. All donations will be given to the CAPK Food Bank. To date, Condors have collected more than 20,000 cans of food in Open House history.

 

All ticket plan holders can pick their tickets. If you haven’t purchased tickets yet, this is also a great opportunity to select your seats for the upcoming season, check out new merchandise and get all your ticket questions answered!

 

The Condors return to the ice Friday, October 5 in a pre-season game versus the Stockton Thunder at 7 p.m.  The regular season kicks off Sunday, October 14th at 5 p.m. against the Las Vegas Wranglers. For the full 2012-2013 scheduleclick here.

 

MONDAY, OCTOBER 1:
The entire Condors team will kick off Breast Cancer Awareness month by participating in Lace’n It Up for Links for Life. The event is a series of walks taking place all over town and the Condors will be at the Downtown Kick-Off starting at 11:30 a.m. the Liberty Bell on Truxtun and ending at 1300 17th Street (Superintendent of Schools building).

TUESDAY, OCTOBER 2:

Condors broadcaster Kevin Bartl hits the airwaves for his weekly appearance on the Scott Cox Show at 5 p.m. on KERN News Talk 1180.  With players back on the ice, now is the time to tune in for behind the scenes news and insights about the team and front office.
WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 3:
Baby Cal celebrates Back to School Night from 4-6 p.m. at Auburn Community School located at 3700 Auburn Street.

 

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 5:

Condors are back on the ice in the much anticipated pre-season game versus the Stockton Thunder at 7 p.m. All tickets are $5 for upper level and $10 for lower level. Tickets may be purchased at the Rabobank Arena Box Office. Hours are Monday through Friday from 10-6 p.m. and Saturdays from 10-4 p.m. with extended hours on gamedays. For more information, call the Condors office at 324-PUCK (7825).

 

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 6:

 

Condors players get to serve up the season’s hottest styles as a “Shoe Guy” at CASA’s Wine, Women & Shoes Event. Presented by Mercy & Memorial Hospitals, the event is a glamorous fashion  show featuring fine wines, food, shopping.The event is being held at the home of Kyle & Kim Carter from 2-6 p.m. Tickets must be purchased in advance.

The Bakersfield Condors are once again teaming up with Kern Bridges Youth Homes for the 15th Annual Charity Golf Tournament taking place Monday, October 29th at the prestigious Bakersfield Country Club.
