Baby Cal and Condors staff kicked off a fundraiser at Veterans Elementary from 12-1 p.m. The school is located at 6301 Old Farm Road. The Condors provide great incentives and are excellent for raising money for your school. To find out how you can use the Condors to help yours, click here.

Tues. January 24th:

Condors rookie forward and “SoCal Kid” Parker Stanfield will join ABC 23’s Mike Hart on “Good Morning Kern County,” at 6:15 a.m. Wake up early with your morning cup of coffee and watch Parker talk about playing hockey in California.

The Condors once again are set to team up with La Campesina 92.5 FM and Bright House Networks for the Classroom of the Month.This month’s class is Mrs. Harmon’s first graders at Orangewood Elementary School, located at 9600 Eucalyptus Drive. DefensemanRyan Annesley, who recently graduated from Niagara University, will speak to the students about the importance of doing well in school.

Condors President Matthew Riley will speak at the Bakersfield North Rotary Club weekly meeting at noon. The meeting will take place at the Petroleum Club of Bakersfield, located at 5060 California Ave. For more information, click here.

Wed. January 25th:

The Condors return to the Mercy and Memorial Hospitals Home Ice at Rabobank Arena for a 7 p.m. showdown with the league-leading Alaska Aces. Doors open at 6 p.m. 30 individual glass suite tickets are available for a discounted price of just $20 by calling Jose or Callie at 324-PUCK (7825).

Fri. January 27th:

Condors broadcaster Kevin Bartl will  be a guest on the Scott Cox Show at 4:00 p.m. on KERN Radio 1180 AM. He’ll have all the scoop on what’s going on in Condorstown.

The Condors begin a two-game weekend set with the Ontario Reign at Rabobank Arena. Doors open at 5:30 and the puck drops at 7 p.m. The first 2,000 kids, 12 & under, will receive a Condors toothbrush presented by Hot Hits 93.1 and Smileworld Dental. It’s a Bright House Networks and Wells Fargo Kids Club Night where members will receive free lower level admission. To sign up for the Kids Club, click here.

Sat. January 28th:

The team closes out the weekend against Ontario for the final meeting between the two sides at Rabobank Arena. Doors open at 5:30 and the puck drops at 7 p.m. Come out and bring the whole family as the crazy, loony ZOOperstars are in Condorstown presented by ABC23, 101.5 KGFM, and Mercy & Memorial Hospitals. All of the favorites, including the likes of Squidney Crosby, Shaquille O’Seal, and LeBronco James, will be in the building!

Sun. January 29th:

The Bakersfield Ice Sports Center, under the direction of formerice sports centerCondor greats Paul Willett and Scott Hay, is holding a Try Sled Hockey Clinic from 12-3 p.m. at the B.I.S.C. If you or someone you know is confined to a wheelchair and would like to play this new and exciting experience, please contact them at 852-7400.

The always anticipated “Tip A Condor” event will be held atHooters, located at 4208 Rosedale Highway Suite 100 on Tuesday, February 21st from 5-8 p.m. Don’t miss out on this great chance to interact with the players as they serve your food. There will also be plenty of items up for auction and fun had by all! The event benefits Shriners Hospital for Children.

Another highlight to the Condors calendar has been set as well with “Ladies Night” to be held on Monday, March 12. Time TBD. It’s a special event for the Condors women only as they get special tours of the rink, instruction from the players and coaches, and have an opportunity to ask the team plenty of questions! If you’re looking to learn more about the game and the team, this is definitely the event for you.
