National Sports News Spotlight

Not many who left at the conclusion of Saturday’s Condors game were talking about anything other than the line brawl and other fisticuffs that broke out between the Condors and Reign late in the game. The record 278 penalty minutes handed out blew past the Condors previous record (set one year ago to the day), and came up less than 30 PIM shy of the all-time ECHL record of 306 (Victoria vs. Fresno, Feb. 16, 2005 – a game that included, coincidentally, Condors Head Coach Matt O’Dette, then playing with the Falcons).

The locations in which the CondorsTV video has aired is seemingly endless – on ESPN, ESPN2’s “Dan LaBatard is Highly Questionable” Show, ESPN News, Yahoo’s Puck Daddy Blog, Sports Illustrated’s SI.com, CBS Sports online, Barstoolsports.com, NESN, deadspin.com, The Bleacher Report and even a website entitled www.awfulannouncing.com, and the list goes on and on and on.
