$1 Dogs and Half Price Beer TONIGHT/ Teddy Bear Toss Saturday

CONDORSTOWN, Calif. – It is here. One of the most anticipated weeks on the Condors schedule has arrived as Bakersfield hits the Dignity Health Home Ice at  Rabobank Arena for two games this week. Tuesday, fans can enjoy $1 hot dogs and half-price beer as the Condors battle the San Francisco Bulls. Then, after you awake from your Thanksgiving food coma, Teddy Bear Toss awaits on Saturday as the Condors host the Ontario Reign. Don’t miss out on one of the biggest nights in Condorstown, by calling 324-PUCK (7825) and reserving your group today.

Prepare for Thanksgiving by eating all of the $1 hot dogs you caneat on Tuesday while washing it down with half-price beerthrough the end of the first intermission presented by My 4592.1 MAX FM and Bud Light. Additionally, receive $1.00 terrace-level admission to the game with the donation of a new or slightly used unwrapped toy as part of the R & D Leather Furniture Toy Drive to benefit Toys for Tots. Tuesday is an SC Architect Condors Classroom Champions Night where students who achieved outstanding attendance levels will receive a complimentary ticket to the game.

For the 14th time in Condors history, the fur will fly on Saturday in Condorstown on 29 Eyewitness NewsKERN 1180 AM andWells Fargo Teddy Bear Toss Night. Fans are encouraged to bring at least two teddy bears and when the Condors score their first goal of the game, throw them out on the ice to be collected and then distributed to various charities by the United Way of Kern County.

Over 73,000 bears have been collected in the event’s history and over 104,000 people have attended the game.

Teddy Bear Toss this year will be extra special as the team willcommemorate the nearly80,000 kids that have a received a teddy bear by wearing special jerseys. The jerseys will be auctioned off throughout the night, with everyone in attendance having the opportunity to win one offive that will be given away! All proceeds from the jersey auction will benefit the United Way of Kern County.

“We’re asking everyone to bring in two stuffed animals to help us set a record this year and make this the best Teddy Bear Toss in history,” said Condors Team President Matthew Riley. “If everyone brings in two stuffed animals we’ll collect 15,000 for our 15th Anniversary season which would be amazing.” 

The Condors will welcome unprivileged children to the game as part of Big Buddies Night. The children will be given the opportunity to attend the game for free thanks to the generosity of local organizations. If your company or organization would like to send 20 less fortunate children to a Condors game for just $8 a ticket, please call 324-PUCK (7825).

Doors open at 6 p.m. both nights (5:45 for season ticket holders) with the puck drop at 7 p.m.
Be sure to stop by the Bakersfield Marriott Autograph Booth on the concourse near the main doors to get your favorite player’s autograph. On Tuesday D Olivier Dame-Malka and D Tyson Gimblett will sign for fans while G Scott Greenham and F Alex Hudson will man the booth after Saturday’s game.
