Condors Back with Fox Sports 970: Bartl and Holt Return as Broadcast Team

CONDORSTOWN, Calif. – The Bakersfield Condors announced today that Fox Sports Radio 970am, along with iHeartRadio and AmericaOne, will serve as the official broadcast home for all 72 Condors contests for the upcoming 2012-13 season. Broadcast duo Kevin Bartl (@KevinBartl) and Ryan Holt (@BroadcastHolt) will call all the action for the 15th Anniversary campaign.

fox sports 970has carried the Condors for the past two seasons and will broadcast every game this season, in its entirety, beginning with the Condors Countdown pre-game show, 15 minutes prior to every broadcast. 

In addition, the station will carry a one-hour Condors radio show,
Condors Insider, every Thursday night from 6-7 p.m. with Bartl and Holt serving as the hosts. It will feature exclusive interviews with the team, highlights from the past week’s games, and ridiculous banter that you have come to expect from Condorstown!

Holt, 24, begins his second campaign in Condorstown and will serve as the play-by-play voice for all home and road games this season. Originally from North Weymouth, Mass., he previously worked for the Corpus Christi (TX) IceRays (NAHL) and Worcester Sharks (AHL).

Bartl, 37, enters his 10th season behind the mic in Condorstown and will provide color commentary for all home contests this season. The long-standing Condors broadcaster is a two-time broadcaster of the year and served as the television broadcaster for the 2011 ECHL All-Star Classic held in Bakersfield.

AmericaOne will once again serve as the official pay-per-view video provider of the ECHL, streaming all 72 Condors games online viawww.americaone.com.

LA KINGS STANLEY CUP CELEBRATION OCT. 14

Opening Night in Condorstown will have a championship feel as the Stanley Cup Champion LA Kings Ice Crew Girls, Street Team, and mascot Bailey will be on hand as the Condors host the Las Vegas Wranglers at 5 p.m. 

The festivities will begin at 2 p.m. with inflatables, games, and more out on the plaza in front of Rabobank Arena. In addition, the first 2,000 children, 12 & under, will receive a LA Kings Stanley Cup Champion pennant to hang on their wall.
