Condors Open Training Camp

Team hosts San Jose at 6 p.m. on Friday in the team’s lone home preseason game

The Condors 2023-24 training camp is underway under the direction of head coach Colin Chualk, who enters his second full season behind the bench. He is joined by assistant coaches Keith McCambridge (2nd season) and Nate DiCasmirro (1st season). Goaltending coach Sylvain Rodrigue returns for his 11th season in the organization and video coordinator Kris Horn enters his second season.

Bakersfield opens camp with two goaltenders, eight d-men, and 16 forwards. Of the 26 players currently in camp, eight played for the Condors a season ago including netminder Olivier Rodrigue, second-year forwards Ty Tullio and Carter Savoie, and d-men Alex Peters and Xavier Bernard.

Two forwards drafted by the Edmonton Oilers, Matvey Petrov (6th round, 2021) and Jake Chiasson (4th round, 2021) look to turn pro this season.
