XAVIER BERNARD INKS ONE YEAR AHL DEAL

The Condors offseason signing season continued with the re-signing of d-man Xavier Bernard to a one-year, one-way American Hockey League (AHL) contract for the 2023-24 season.

Acquired in a trade with Belleville in March, Bernard played 12 games with the Condors in 2022-23 and scored his first AHL goal on March 31. He has played 50 career AHL games over the past two seasons and has four points (1g-3a).

Originally a 4th round selection in the 2018 NHL Draft by New Jersey, the 23-year old had 103 points (23g-80a) in 275 career Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) games.
