LOVELAND, Colo. – The Bakersfield Condors (7-18-1-2, 17pts) scored the game’s opening goal, but surrendered three straight to the Colorado Eagles (14-11-1-2, 31pts) and fell by a 3-2 score at the Budweiser Events Center on Wednesday night.

The Eagles took a 2-1 lead at 13:43 with their second power-play goal, this time off the stick of F Joey Sides. Colorado outshot the Condors, 19-8.

In the second period, the Eagles extended their lead to 3-1 when F Kevin Ulanski potted his second of the night at the 3:38 mark. The Condors clawed back to within one at 3-2 when F Peter Boyd found a loose puck in the slot and rattled one past Brown at 13:57 of the frame. Shots were even at nine each.

The Condors went on the power play three times in the third period and pulled Stewart for the final 1:25 of the frame, but could not find an equalizer and fell by a 3-2 margin. Shots were even at six aside.
