GAME PREVIEW presented by Rodriguez & Associates

The Bakersfield Condors play game two of a five-game road trip in Henderson against the Silver Knights. It is the longest road trip of the season for Bakersfield, who plays seven of its first 10 games away from home.

LAST TIME OUT

Bakersfield notched its first win of the season on Sunday, 3-2 over Ontario. Olivier Rodrigue made 20 saves in his debut start of the season. Henderson fell 5-3 in the Inland Empire last night despite a two-goal performance from Byron Froese.

HAMMER TIME

James Hamblin signed his first NHL contract in March and celebrated with a 1g-1a night on Sunday. He scored 21 goals a season ago.

LEADING THE WAY

The Condors have yet to be behind in a game so far through 123+ minutes. On Saturday, Abbotsford rallied from two goals down to win in overtime.

POWERED UP EARLY

Special teams have been solid early for the team as Bakersfield has connected on two of seven man up opportunities (28.6%) and killed off seven of eight penalty kills (87.5%).

THE CAPTAIN IS BACK

Brad Malone was assigned by the Oilers on Monday and is expected to make his season debut tonight. He signed a two-year NHL contract extension with the Oilers in the offseason.
