The Bakersfield Condors return home following a six-game road trip to host the Tucson Roadrunners at 7 p.m. on Star Wars Night. Bakersfield currently occupies the third spot in the Pacific Division following last night’s 2-1 overtime win over division-leading Stockton.

LAMBORGHINI PERLINI

Perlini’s overtime goal gave him three on the season in four games with the Condors. In his brief stints in the AHL, Perlini now has 17 goals and 22 points in 21 games.

DEZZY DOES IT AGAIN

Vinny Desharnais was +2 and had two assists last night. He leads the AHL in plus/minus at +26 and has 20 points (5g-15a) in 44 games this year.

SKINNER SAVES

Stuart Skinner earned his 11th win of the year last night, stopping 26 of 27. His 2.24 goals-against average is 3rd among AHL goaltenders and he owns an 11-2-4 record. It was his fifth consecutive start.

NEW CONTRACT BUMP

Dmitri Samorukov signed a one-year NHL contract extension with the Oilers on Wednesday. He had an assist in San Jose and last night tied the game early in the third period and added an overtime assist.

SERIES WITH THE ROADRUNNERS

Bakersfield is 3-0-1 against Tucson so far this season. In the team’s last matchup Ilya Konovalov stopped a season-high 37 shots in an overtime loss.

TUCSON PLAYS OVERTIME

The Roadrunners started their trip with a point in Ontario on Wednesday. Michael Carcone scored his 22nd goal of the year, which leads the team.
