The Condors start 2022 with a three-city, six-game road trip. Bakersfield is in Ontario tomorrow and then heads north of the border to take on the Abbotsford Canucks for four games starting Wednesday.

SOLID END TO 2021

Despite playing just six games in the month of December, the Condors finished strong, going 2-0-1 over their last three games. Last time out, Seth Griffith scored in overtime to seal a 4-3 win over Ontario on Wednesday night at home. Defensively, the Condors have tightened, allowing just eight goals in their last four games.

LAVOIE STARTING TO FIND THE SCORING TOUCH

Raphael Lavoie has three goals over his last two games and six points during that stretch (3g-3a). Last season, the 21-year old had 10 points (5g-5a) in 19 regular season games with Bakersfield. That stretch included a six-game point streak (4g-3a).

SKINNER RETURNS IN STYLE

Stuart Skinner returned from being with Edmonton for two months in style on Wednesday, stopping 24 shots. He’s 3-0 on the season with a 1.99 GAA and .928 save percentage.

MARODY POTS A PAIR

Cooper Marody scored twice on Wednesday to take over the team lead in goals with eight. It was his first multi-goal game of the season and his team-leading 7th multi-point game of the year.

CONDORS LOVE VEGAS

Including playoffs, the Condors are 7-3-0 against Henderson on the road. Overall, the Condors went 7-3-0 against the Silver Knights a year ago.

TRANSACTIONS

The Condors received Dmitri Samorukov from Edmonton on Thursday after making his NHL debut. He became the 13th Condors player in four season to debut in Edmonton.

ON THE OTHER SIDE

Henderson closed 2021 with a 4-1 win in Ontario last night. Paul Cotter had an assist and led the team with nine shots. Jiri Patera stopped 24 of 25 for the victory. Henderson has points in five straight (4-0-1).
