GAME PREVIEW presented by Rodriguez & Associates

Tonight is the first of three between the two teams this week, who also meet Friday in Bakersfield and Saturday in Henderson.

HOME COOKIN’

Bakersfield is 2-1-1 on a six-game homestand. Overall at home, the team is 15-7-2-2 (.654%).

PLAYING IN FRONT

Saturday was just the third time in 15 opportunities in which the Condors led after one period and did not secure a victory. In those scenarios the team is now 12-2-1 on the year.

PERLINI PERCOLATING

Brendan Perlini is on a six-game point streak, having collected 11 points (6g-5a) over that stretch. He has four goals on a three-game goal scoring streak. His next goal would make him the ninth Condors player to hit double figures in goals.

HOLLOWAY HEATING UP

Dylan Holloway had three assists against Grand Rapids over the weekend, including his fourth multi-point game of the season. On the year, the 20-year old has 16 points (7g-9a) in 28 games.

MALONE MATCHES CAREER HIGH

Brad Malone’s 13th goal of the season on Saturday matched his AHL career high, done twice with the Condors in 2019-20 and 2017-18.

PLAYOFF PRIMER

Click here for an updated Playoff Primer. With 13 games remaining in the season, the Condors stand in 4th place in the Pacific Division, the final home-ice position for the first round. The team’s magic number is 6 to clinch a berth in the postseason and would drop to four with a win tonight.

NEW ADDITIONS

Scarlett Elizabeth Griffith (Seth) and Bea Katriina Niemelainen (Markus) both entered the world in the month of March, the first children for each of the Condors.

DOWN THE HALL

Henderson is 2-7-1 in its last 10 and were swept over the weekend by the Tucson Roadrunners at Orleans Arena. It was the final weekend at The Orleans as the Condors will play visitor to the first-ever game at Dollar Loan Center in Henderson on Saturday.
