GAME PREVIEW presented by Rodriguez & Associates

The Condors wrap up a brief two-game homestand tonight against San Diego.

LAST TIME OUT

Bakersfield led 2-1 going into the third, but Ontario forced overtime and eventually won in the fourth round of the shootout, 3-2. Seth Griffith had two assists in regulation and scored the team’s lone shootout goal.

TIGHT ONES

Friday’s game was the 25th one-goal game for Bakersfield this season. The team owns a 10-11-2-2 record in those games. Only Providence (28) and Utica (26) have been involved in more one-goal games.

‘PICK’ING IT UP

Calvin Pickard is 9-4-1 in his last 14 decisions and has made at least 30 saves in five straight games.

UNBEATEN AT HOME

Despite the shootout loss, the Condors extended their home point streak to a season-long six games (4-0-2), garnering 10 of a possible 12 points.

PLUS PETEY

Alex Peters has a goal and five assists in his last four games after his second multi-point game of the season last night. His +15 leads the team.

PHILP LEADS THE WAY

Noah Philp had a goal and assist, his first multi-point game of the season.

RAPH HUNTING GULLS

Raphael Lavoie leads the Condors against San Diego with six points (2g-4a) in five games.

BACK FROM THE FORT

Darien Kielb was recalled from his loan to Fort Wayne earlier in the week. It was a productive trip for the blueliner as he notched nine points (3g-6a) in six games.

ON THE OTHER SIDE

San Diego knocked off Coachella Valley in overtime last night, 2-1. Bo Groulx leads the Gulls against the Condors with five points (3g-2a) in five games. Lukas Dostal has started all five games this season against Bakersfield.

WHAT’S NEXT?

The Condors head out on a four-game road trip beginning in Colorado Tuesday and Wednesday at 6 p.m. PT.
