Calvin Pickard stopped all 30 shots he faced and the Bakersfield Condors (29-26-4, 62pts) shutout the Henderson Silver Knights (22-34-5, 49pts) 1-0 on Friday. Tyler Benson (5th) scored the lone goal on the power play in the second period. It was the 18th career AHL shutout for Pickard.
Bakersfield is 11-2-2 in its last 15 home games and 17-8-3 in its last 28 overall.
With the win, Bakersfield is now 5-0 against the Knights and went 5-2 on the homestand.
