Calvin Pickard stopped 27 for his third shutout of the season and the Bakersfield Condors (34-29-4, 72pts) clinched a 2023 Calder Cup Playoffs berth with 3-0 shutout of the Colorado Eagles (36-22-10, 82pts) on Wednesday. It is the fourth consecutive playoff berth for the Condors, one of just two AHL teams to accomplish that feat.

Alex Peters (6th, 7th) scored twice in the win and James Hamblin (10th) added the insurance. The win moves the Condors into fifth in the division.

Bakersfield is 22-11-3 in its last 35 overall. The Condors play three of their final five games at home, where they are 15-2-2 in their last 19 at home.
