A 10th straight home win to wrap the regular season as the Bakersfield Condors (37-31-4, 78pts) swept the Coachella Valley Firebirds (48-17-7, 103pts) 4-2, in front of a crowd of 6,671 on Saturday. Noah Philp (18th, 19th) scored twice and Olivier Rodrigue stopped 40 shots for his 14th win.

Bakersfield will be the five seed and heads to Abbotsford in the first round of the Calder Cup Playoffs. It is a rematch of last season’s first round, won by the Condors in two games.

Bakersfield is 25-13-3 in its last40 overall and are 18-2-2 in their last 22 at home.
