The Bakersfield Condors swept the Tucson Roadrunners with a 5-1 victory on Saturday. The win gets the Condors off to their best start in the AHL era at 4-1-0.

Raphael Lavoie (3rd,4th) scored twice, had an assist, and capped the night with a fight for the Gordie Howe Hat Trick. He paced the team with five shots and now has 27 through five games on the year.

Sam Gagner (1st) and James Hamblin (3rd) each had a goal and assist on the night. Matvey Petrov and Ethan de Jong recorded their first pro assists.

Olivier Rodrigue stopped 30 of 31 for his second straight win. Bakersfield has allowed just eight goals in five games this season.
