The Calgary Wranglers (20-7-1, 39pts) broke a 1-1 second intermission deadlock early in the third period in a 2-1 win over the Bakersfield Condors (11-17-1, 23pts) in front of 5,194 on Friday. Ryan Fanti got the start and stopped 29 of 31, including the team’s fourth penalty shot against.

Alex Peters (2nd) returned from Fort Wayne and found the scoresheet for the Condors lone goal.
