Condors droppings:
Although the Eagles dominated in the shots on goal category, besting Bakersfield 20-6 in the first frame, it was Bakersfield that drew first blood. F Nicholas Tremblay potted his 7th of the season at 17:32, on the power play, to make it 1-0. He has seven tallies in just 12 games since joining the Condors January 11.
Colorado continued the shot barrage, and finally solved Greenham with two goals in the span of 11 seconds early in the second. F Steve Haddon and F Dylan Hood scored in rapid succession to make it 2-1. Goals allowed aside, the first 40 minutes of the game turned into the Greenham show, as he made 19 more saves in the second and had 39 through two periods.
Tried as they might in the third, the Condors offense never got off the ground. Bakersfield managed just six shots in the final frame, and surrendered an empty net tally late to account for the final score. Greenham’s 51 saves set a personal mark, and a Condors season-high.
