Ludwig joins Condors from Oklahoma City

CONDORSTOWN, Calif. – The Bakersfield Condors, owned by the Edmonton Oilers, announced today that D C.J. Ludwig has been loaned to the team from their American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Oklahoma City Barons. Ludwig will join the team on the road in Idaho.
LUDWIG – stats; 24 years old, 6’0″, 194 lbs., Little Elm, Texas
  • Recorded two points in eight games (1g-1a) with the Barons this season
  • Under AHL contract with Oklahoma City
  • Played four seasons at Northern Michigan University where he had 12 points (5g-7a) in 13 games as a senior before a season-ending injury
  • Was named a 2009-10 United States Hockey League (USHL) Second-Team All-Star when he recorded 24 points (7g-17a) in 58 games
  • Son of NHL defenseman Craig Ludwig, who played 1,256 NHL games and won two Stanley Cups (w/ Montreal in 1986 and w/ Dallas in 1999)

TEDDY BEAR TOSS COUNT: Earlier today, LW Chase Schaber helped count stuffed animals which were tossed onto the ice on Saturday night in Condorstown. The team collected 7,358 bears for the United Way of Kern County who will distribute them to nearly 60 different organizations in Kern County.
