Team Poster and Youth Jersey Giveaway Nights This Weekend

CONDORSTOWN, Calif. – The last opportunity to catch the Condors on Dignity Health Home Ice at  Rabobank Arena in October is this weekend. Friday night is Team Poster Giveaway while Saturday is Youth Jersey Giveaway Night.Friday’s game is against Las Vegas, while Saturday marks the first meeting of the season against the rival Stockton Thunder.

Friday night, everyone in attendance will get their copy of the2012-13 Condors Team Poster courtesy of KERN 1180 AM and Castle Printing. The posters are great for getting autographs from the team or simply hanging on your wall around the house. This year’s photo features the team in their new gray alternate jersey standing in a semi-circle around the 15th Anniversary logo at center ice.

Saturday is sure to bring lines on the plaza well in advance of the game as fans pile in to get their #8 “SoCal Kid” Parker Stanfield youth jersey. The jerseys will be given to the first
2,000 children, 12 and younger, and are presented by
La Preciosa 105.3 FM and Three Way Chevrolet-Cadillac. Your child will have the opportunity to be their very own “SoCal Kid” for Halloween and will look great around town sporting a Condors jersey.

With an amazing Condors fundraiser Penn Point Dance Academy will perform multiple high-energy dance routines during Saturday’s game. Both games start at 7 p.m. with doors opening at 6 p.m. for the general public and 5:45 p.m. for season ticket holders.

Also on Saturday, the team will honor Condorstown Olympian Jimmy Watkins with the first “Spirit of Condorstown” award. Watkins is a full-time firefighter and father who recently placed sixth at the 2012 London Olympics in the Men’s Sprint in cycling – the United States’ best finish in 12 years.
