Condors in the Community: Condors Host Annual Job Fair, Select-A-Seat Party, and National Anthem Tryouts

This week in Condorstown:

Tuesday, Sept. 13

Have you ever wanted to sing the National Anthem in front of thousands of people? Here is your chance! Auditions for National Anthem singers will take place on Tuesday from 4 to 6 p.m., at Rabobank Arena, located at 1001 Truxtun Ave. Individual singers andNath2 small groups are invited to audition for the chance to perform at our games during the season. The vast majority of anthem singers every season attend these tryouts, so if you are interested, it is strongly recommended you schedule a time and attend the tryout. Contact Brad Urbani at 324-PUCK (7825) ext. 210 in advance to sign up for a time slot.

The Condors are giving fans a great opportunity to test out potential seat locations during the Select-A-Seat event from 4 to 6 p.m., at Rabobank Arena, located at 1001 Truxtun Ave. The best available seats will be tagged for fans’ convenience, and Condors representatives will be on hand to escort fans throughout the arena. Plus, anyone that comes to look at seats at this event can enter to win four tickets to the Professional Bull Riders Tour, coming to Rabobank Arena Nov. 4 & 5.

Also, all Group Leaders are encouraged to attend this event to speak to their account rep and lock in dates for their group night. This will be a great time to get information on the Condors brand new glass suite or set up a fundraiser.

Everyone who purchases a ticket plan at the event will receive an exclusive tour of the locker and training rooms, plus a behind-the-scenes look at Rabobank Arena.  In addition, free hot dogs, popcorn and soda will be provided for all fans attending the event. Any kids making the trip will have the chance to test their hockey skills in the inflatable slapshot booth set up outside the arena.

Wednesday, Sept. 14

Baby Cal and Condors staff will be at Eissler Elementary School, located at 2901 Eissler St., from 11:30 to 1 p.m. Baby Cal will be entertaining the kids and handing out cool prizes to kick off a fundraiser that Eissler Elementary is participating in with the Condors this season. Thousands of dollars were raised last season through Condors fundraisers. Call us at 324-PUCK(7825) for information or organize a fundraiser with the Condors for your school, church, youth sports team, or non-profit.

If you’re looking to break into the world of professional sports, or perhaps just looking to earn a few extra bucks, the annual Job Fair is a perfect opportunity to do so. The Job Fair will take place at Rabobank Arena, located at 1001 Truxtun Ave., from 3:30 to 6 p.m. The Condors are looking for hard-working, energetic people to fill promogirlgame-day positions such as Mascot Operations, Program Sales, Promotions Team, Kids Zone, Chuck-A-Puck Sales, Merchandise, Blimp Pilot and more.

Those interested may fill out an application in the Condors front office (1001 Truxtun Ave.) prior to the Job Fair to expedite the interview process. If you have any Job Fair questions call the Condors front office at 324-PUCK (7825).
