CONDORS IN THE COMMUNITY: Condors at Back 2 School & Third Thursday ‘Last Blast’

The Condors are saying goodbye to summer and hello school year (and almost hockey season!) by participating in back to school activities. Mascots and staff will be present at  Back-2-School and the DBA’s final Third Thursday of the summer.


Baby Cal and Director of Community Relations Mikie Barrett will attend the Back-2-School Health and Wellness Fairhosted by the Kern County Department of Child Support Services from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Mill Creek Park. Look for the Condors Slapshot booth at this Free Community Event with activities and supplies including health screenings, haircuts, safety tips and more.


THURSDAY, AUGUST 16:DBA Third Thursday


Colonel Claw’d will join the festivities in the final Third Thursday of the season. The ‘Last Blast’ activities take place at Mill Creek Park from 5:00 -8:00 p.m. and features food, games, live music, and a host of local businesses.


Colonel Claw’d will join the Kiwanis Club at Target West for a special back to school shopping session at 6:30 a.m. A select group of kids get the opportunity to shop before doors open to the public for items that start their school year off right.
